BIO
Kylie began her entertainment career working in business affairs for the Australian independent production company Artist Services (Fast Forward, Big Girls Blouse) and later moved into TV development and production with thecomedychannel working on the early TV forays of (then) comedians; Rove, Shaun Micallef and Merrick & Rosso to name a few.
Leaving Australia in 1999 for long stint overseas working for the UK Film Council, Walt Disney Internet Group/ESPN and Gorillaz The Band, Kylie returned in 2003 and took up business affairs roles with SBS Independent and later Grundy Television before its acquisition by UK’s FremantleMedia.
Upon leaving Grundy in 2006, Kylie went freelance and wrote editorially for Sain Magazine (Sanity Music), created digital content for Big Day Out and Australian Idol (for Telstra & Vodafone) and took on the role of Project Manager at Red Carpet Films with producer, Anthony Anderson (Accidents Happen, Somersault).
Later that year, she opened Misc. (an artist management, literary and production company) where for eight years she managed a raft of creative talent and developed film and TV properties with her clients and third parties.
Before Misc. ceased operations in June 2013; Kylie had also lent her business affairs expertise and music licensing experience to Australian TV productions for Shine Australia which included The Renovators, Australia’s Next Top Model (Series 7), WAG Nation, Class of 2011, The Family and The Voice. She also produced a slew of credits including short films, music videos, theatre productions and a TV pilot.
Upon departure from Misc, Kylie returned to Melbourne and after a year of MC-ing promotions (and administrative work) at Melbourne’s Crown Casino she took several months off in late 2014 and spent two those months in the USA taking in the Sundance Film Festival and later returning to spend time with the family in New Zealand.
In March 2015, Kylie launched WarmFuzzyMedia to an online space while holding the fort as a temp for central Auckland businesses and later Business Administrator at Unitec's Environmental & Animal Sciences Department one of her favourite roles to date. Now a Surfers Paradise resident her time is divided by volunteering at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, studying animal welfare and looking after the various creatures (human and animal) that stray onto her path.
